Kalido Launches Universal Info Director For BI

ORLANDO, FL -- Business Intelligence software maker Kalido announced plans for a new tool designed to help connect disparate industry systems to produce better business intelligence information.

Called the Universal Information Director, the addition to Kalido's Active Information Management suite will extend operability to Cognos 8 BI as well as other popular programs such as Business Objects.

The company has priced the software beginning at $75,000 and said it expects it to be commercially available in the third quarter.  Kalido is backed by Atlas Venture, Benchmark Capital and Matrick Partners.
